Official visits
We welcome guest representatives of international partner universities/organizations of the School of Engineering. We want to provide the most comprehensive visit possible, therefore, if you are requesting any interactions with our faculty members/students, please fill in the request form to details.
What we can offer
- Information session by EngIO staff members/student ambassadors
- Aobayama campus/lab tour led by student ambassadors
- Cultural exchange with Tohoku University students
Your visit may consist of an information session led by one of EngIO faculty members and/or student ambassadors, campus tour, and research laboratory visits. Information sessions include an overview of academic life at Tohoku University and student life in Sendai City. Moreover, you can explore our campus led by our volunteer student ambassadors. Tours provide insight into student life at Tohoku University and include visits to the library, the student cafeteria, a student accommodation etc.
Making a visit request
In order for each visit request to be properly considered, potential visitors are asked to fill in an online request form:
1 Please fill out our online visit request form. Please be informed that we accept visitors only to the School of Engineering. If you want to visit other Schools or the headquarters of Tohoku University, please contact Tohoku University Global Engagement Division.
2 The coordinator will then try to match your visit request with university resources, and you will receive email confirmation within 3 working days. Depending on the date and the availability of the staff, we may not be able to accept your request.
